Fernando Alonso Díaz (in Spanish pronunciation: [feɾnando Alonso], familiarly called Nando, born in Oviedo, Asturias, Spain, July 29, 1981, age 29 years) was a Formula One driver from Spain. He had become the youngest world champion in the history of F1 title in 2005 at the age of 24 years and 59 days, so the 33-year-old record owned by Emerson Fittipaldi who was 25 years and 273 days when it won the world title in 1972. Records are solved Lewis Hamilton on racing season 2008. Alonso also had become the youngest driver ever to win the grand prix and won pole position, each in series Hungarian GP 2003 and GP Malaysia 2003, before solved by Sebastian Vettel in Italian GP 2008. He is also the first F1 world champion from Spain.
